WOW MKTG was appointed as the agency of record for the Clover Health brand. Clover Health is a Medicare advantage plan based in San Francisco and currently the only healthcare unicorn in Silicon Valley with a valuation of 1 billion dollars.

approach

Increasing from 4 to 9 counties within the New Jersey market, Clover Health was looking to not only expand its current footprint but increase the equity of the brand amongst 65+ Medicare eligibles and ultimately increase the number of enrollees in the plan for the 2017 AEP period.

outcome

With a $1.5 million dollar media investment (that included Radio and OOH) and a strategic 10 week marketing plan, Clover yielded a growth of 5,343 net members and 7,200 gross members in the 2017 AEP period. This was by far the largest increase in membership that the brand had seen since its inception in 2012.
